Mystic Mountain Metals: The Art of Fire and Forest

At Mystic Mountain Metals, we believe iron can feel alive.
It can twist like branches, bloom like wildflowers, and elevate a home like a whispered story told in metal. Our work blends traditional blacksmithing with organic elegance—and nowhere is that more evident than in our stunning hand crafted railings and wall art.

Meet the Blacksmith

Jeremy Duke is not your average craftsman. He’s part blacksmith, part poet, and part mountain mystic. He grew up dreaming of forging metal—but never believed it could be a real job. That changed when someone told him, “Go to the mountains—that’s where the blacksmiths are.” Following his dream, he left everything he knew behind and headed for the mountains.

Jeremy worked for five years as an unpaid apprentice, learning the old ways while juggling multiple jobs to support himself as he honed his skills and built his dream. That grit and heart live in every single piece he creates today. His hands shape the metal, but it’s his heart and soul that bring it to life.

In 2024, we rebranded the company as Mystic Mountain Metals to reflect our evolving style and transformed his dream into a full-time legacy of fire, steel, and art

The Soul of the Mountains

Our signature style is shaped by the forest. We live and work in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and our designs are deeply rooted in the natural world—branches, vines, textures, and flow. We honor the earth which provides the iron.

This is living metalwork. And it lives beautifully.

Grounded in Goodness

We do our share every chance we get. Mystic Mountain Metals recycles, reuses, and upcycles everything we possibly can. We partner with local suppliers and buy everything locally to support our community and our country. We’re committed to protecting the mountains and earth we call home—and honoring the community that supports our work.
